Sensodyne Repair & Protect Extra Fresh Toothpaste contains fluoride to help strengthen your teeth. The toothpaste for sensitive teeth forms a hard layer on the vulnerable areas of sensitive teeth to aid in repair. The unique NovaMin formula ensures more powerful repair*. Additionally, the toothpaste helps leave your mouth feeling clean and fresh.
Sensitivity can be an indication that your teeth are vulnerable, as dentin becomes exposed due to enamel loss or receding gums. If exposed dentin comes into contact with hot, cold, sweet, or acidic foods or drinks, or even a toothbrush, the underlying nerve can send a sharp signal. Dentin, which is protected by enamel or gums, can become exposed due to brushing too hard, teeth grinding, and/or dental erosion.
Preparation and use
Always follow the instructions on the packaging. Brush twice daily and no more than three times, swallow as little as possible, and spit out. Close the cap after use to keep the toothpaste dry.
