The Kruidvat Fruit Fly Trap consists of a ready-to-use liquid lure and a glue trap to catch fruit flies (adults of Drosophila spp.) indoors.
The fruit flies are attracted by the scent of the lure and stick firmly to the sticky inside of the trap. The fruit fly trap is approved for use in pest control and prevention by the general public (non-professional).
How do you use the Kruidvat Fruit Fly Trap?
Before opening the bottle, let it stand upright for at least 30 minutes, then unscrew the cap by pushing it down and twisting at the same time.
1. Remove the white protective paper from the sticky inside of the trap with one quick movement.
2. Fold the trap into a triangle and assemble it at the top. The sticky surfaces face inwards.
3. Slide the round opening of the trap down over the bottle. Place the trap at a distance of no more than one meter from the infestation.
The best trapping results are obtained in a draft-free location, in the immediate vicinity of a potential source of fruit fly nuisance. You can expect a significant reduction in fruit flies two hours after the start of treatment. After opening the bottle, the effect lasts for up to eight weeks.
Avoid direct sunlight on the trap. Replace the glue trap if the adhesive surface is covered with fruit flies. Remove overripe fruit.
